Yoga therapy is a customized and personal yoga practice specifically designed for moving the person forward. A 60 to 90-minute intake session with the yoga therapist-in-training is required prior to applied yoga sessions. The individual will receive a 10 to 20-minute individual yoga practice after the intake session. Ideally, an individual practices applied yoga for 10-20 minutes daily and discusses the practice with the yoga therapist-in-training during the 1-hour individual sessions.

The applied yoga sessions use the free Zoom software to offer online classes to interested participants. Applied yoga sessions (1-hour) for the individual may be scheduled on Thursday or Friday mornings (9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mountain Time). The participant will use a Zoom link to join the 1-1.5 hour intake session or the 1-hour individual sessions. The intake and the initial 3 applied yoga sessions are free during the 2025-2026 practicum year. There will be a charge of $10 per session after the intake and first 3 sessions, if the participant still wants to explore applied yoga.
