How and Where We Teach

Classes are offered both online (via Zoom) in the Rocky Mountain region and in-person in the Bighorn Basin of Northwest Wyoming. Our structure includes small-group series and one-on-one sessions to meet a wide range of needs.

Cheryl offers in-person Prime of Life yoga classes at Club Dauntless in Powell, Wyoming. Group yoga practices occur at 10 a.m. on Mondays. Visit the Club Dauntless website (https://www.clubdauntless.com/) for information about current class offerings.

Dress comfortably for ease of movement. A mat and props such a blanket, blocks, cloth strap and chair are provided for a steady and comfortable yoga practice.

Practice With Someone Who Cares

Every session is guided with patience and purpose by someone who has practiced and taught yoga for years. Contact us to connect and learn more about what we offer.

About Your Yoga Teacher

Cheryl, yoga teacher (RYT 500), completed the formal yoga therapy course work (~ 1,000 hours) and is working on her yoga therapy practicum. Other yoga training includes Larry Payne’s Prime of Life Yoga courses. Her yoga therapy mentors provide guidance during this practicum year. She became a certified yoga teacher (https://www.yogaalliance.org/) in 2018 and continues to study and practice viniyoga with her teachers. Her yoga teachers (Laura Vanderberg, Chase Bossart and Amanda Green) were influenced by the teachings of Krisnamacharya and his son, TKV Desikichar.

Her hobbies include hiking the Absaroka Mountains of Northwest Wyoming, cross-country skiing, music therapy (Native American flute, frame drums, Tibetan singing bowls and harp) and organic gardening. The outdoors, the night sky and gardening provide inspiration for nature-oriented yoga practices.
